BWS · Type, Web & Software
Pages, letterforms and artwork, ready to print.
Layout, typesetting and vector art, delivered with the checks a print shop expects.

What it does
- Print-ready PDF
- PDF with bleed, trim and crop marks, in RGB or CMYK.
- CMYK colour
- Converts to CMYK with an ink-total report and a preview of each ink.
- PDF/X
- PDF/X-4 output; the stricter PDF/X-1a and X-3 checks refuse live transparency.
- Preflight
- Warns about overset text, low-resolution images, tiny text and overprint before anything goes to print.
- Print package
- One ZIP with the document, images, fonts, print PDF and report.
- Typesetting
- A paragraph composer with Korean line-break rules, hyphenation and justified lines.
- Text flow
- Text threads across frames and pages, reports overflow and repeats table headers.
- Type features
- OpenType features and variable-font axes carry into the PDF.
- Accessible PDF
- Tagged PDF with headings, alt text, reading order and table headers.
- Vector art
- Pathfinder, brushes, blends, envelope warps, gradient meshes and bitmap tracing.
- Data merge
- CSV, TSV or XLSX rows become one page each.

Questions
- Do you check files before they go to a printer?
- Yes. Preflight warns about overset text, low-resolution images, tiny text and overprint, and the print package carries the report.
- Can one design become many pages from a spreadsheet?
- Yes. Each row of a CSV, TSV or XLSX file becomes one page.
- Do you set Korean text?
- Yes. The paragraph composer follows Korean line-break rules.
